That's why I paused for a moment and let my "roots" imagination run wild in this article...

 

The symbolism of the tree of life

 

The Tree of Life is an archetype found in many spiritual and cultural traditions. It represents growth, interconnectedness, grounding, and an eternal cycle of renewal. Its roots reach deep into the earth while its branches reach toward the sky, symbolizing the balance between grounding and aspiration, between what is stable and what is expansive.

The Tree of Life in yoga reflects our journey towards inner peace and personal development. Like the tree, we are encouraged to remain rooted in our true self while constantly striving for growth and evolution. The lessons of stability, resilience and balance found in the form of the tree can be carried with us in our daily lives and yoga practice.
